Mr. Kirsten works exclusively in commercial real estate in San Francisco and the greater bay area. He advises investors, tenants, and owners of commercial properties, including office, industrial, retail and multifamily. Mr. Kirsten joined KW Commercial after a long career in the financial services industry where he structured individual and institutional portfolios as well as retail financial products. At both Wells Fargo Bank and Pax WorldFunds he led mutual fund distribution efforts through numerous broker/dealer networks and was responsible for over $3 billion in net inflows over the course of his career. Later, he joined a biofuel startup named Sirona Fuels where he raised venture investments and led lobbying efforts of Federal, State and Local officials to form joint partnerships and provide incentives to the biofuel business. Upon Sirona’s sale he was recruited by its CFO to join KW Commercial in his current role. Mr. Kirsten lives with his wife and three children in San Francisco’s Mission district. He is active in his community,attending and volunteering at Glide Church and his children’s’ school PTSAs.
