July 4th Impact on the Market?

These 3 charts show week by week activity for the past 6 months through July 11th . Obviously, the first two weeks of July were impacted by the 4th of July holiday slowdown, but it is interesting that a fair amount of inventory is coming on market – perhaps that is simply a reflection of agents holding listings until the holiday week was over. It does seem that opportunities for buyers must be increasing. The activity charts for the last 3 weeks of July will be interesting to see.
